• James R. Johnson

  DVM

  Dr James R Johnson was born and raised in Waukesha. He graduated from Kansas State University where he met his wife, Judy. After a post graduate internship at Colorado State University, they eventually found their way back to Waukesha. Dr. Johnson has been the President of the Waukesha County Veterinary Medical Association. He also served on the Wisconsin Veterinary Examining Board as well as the State Grievance Committee and the Wisconsin Annual Convention Committee. Dr Johnson enjoys all aspects of small animal veterinary medicine. He will take care of cats and dogs of course, as well as most any small mammal or birds. General dentistry and internal medicine and surgery occupy most of his days when he is working. Out of the clinic, his time is taken up with his family, Judy and Rob and Diane, as well as Diva and Ike, brother and sister English Pointers and Magnolia, aka Kitty. He enjoys photography, gardening, fishing and working the dogs.

• Kimberly Centgraf

  DVM

  Dr. Kim Centgraf was raised on a dairy farm in southern Wisconsin near Mt Horeb. She received a Bachelor's Degree in animal science from UW Madison in 1993 and went on to graduate from the UW Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She worked for seven years in the LaCrosse area in a mixed practice of both large and small animals before coming to VCA Associates in Pet care in 2004. Dr. Centgraf and her husband, Don, live in the New Berlin area. They have a daughter, Danielle, two sons, Mark and Peter and are proud grandparents of Kyren and Cecilia. They share their home with two brown tabby cats, Bo and Zeke, and a Jack Russell terrier named Loki. Dr. Centgraf's professional interests include animal behavior, especially young animal training programs and treatment of problem behaviors, and general medicine and surgery. Her personal interests include gardening, travel and reading.

• Jennifer Stephani

  DVM

  Dr. Jennifer Stephani has recently joined the staff at VCA Associates in Pet Care. Born in Fond DuLac, Dr Stephani grew up in Waukesha and began working at VCA Associates in Pet Care while a student at Waukesha West High School. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison with a BS degree in zoology. She then worked as a Veterinary Assistant with VCA Associates in Pet Care for three years until she entered Veterinary School at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, graduating with her degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She completed an internship with a VCA hospital in the Chicago area following her graduation and practiced Veterinary Medicine for four and a half years at Saukville Veterinary Clinic. Dr Stephani enjoys the areas of surgery, critical care, and neurology in her professional life. In her personal life, she loves to travel. She enjoys music, concerts, reading, spending time in Northern Wisconsin and with her family. Dr. Stephani shares her home with two cats, Tsunami and Ty, with two special needs dogs, Chico and Sophie and a bearded dragon.
